You need 3 easy steps:
a) Measure your weight (in pounds).
b) Measure your height (in inches).
c) Calculate BMI = 703 W / H^2
If your weight is in kilograms, and your height is in meters, use this formula instead:
BMI = W / H^2
Then, look at this table and find the meaning of your result
- less than 18.5 = thin
- from 18.6 to 24.9 = healthy
- from 24.5 to 29.9 = overweight
- more than 30 = obese
